In Utrecht pompen vrijwilligers van de Fietsersbond gratis de banden op van fietsers. Met de actie wil de belangenclub fietsers meer snelheid geven. Zachte banden geven veel weerstand en zijn de belangrijkste bron voor onnodige weerstand. De Fietsersbond adviseert eens in de twee maanden de bandenspanning te controleren.
